Am I a LASIK Candidate?

Establishing whether you are a good candidate for LASIK is the critical first step in our evaluation. Most people who use glasses or contact lenses are good candidates for LASIK. We inform approximately 10% of our patients that they are not candidates due to eye conditions such as keratoconus and cataracts. Our initial evaluation includes a comprehensive eye examination, including measuring your pupil size, thickness of your cornea and the degree of corneal distortion caused by your contact lenses. Another important factor in determining if you are a candidate is your lifestyle. Knowing your recreational and occupational visual requirements will allow us to customize your LASIK procedure to meet your needs.

We have the latest Custom LASIK technology including two FDA approved lasers that use wavefront analysis. This advanced technology makes it possible for us to customize the LASIK procedure to your prescription, corneal shape, pupil size, and achieve the safest, most effective vision correction possible. Custom LASIK and LASIK have produced unsurpassed visual results.
